These are full-time working supervisor positions reporting to our Shelter Supervisors.
Job location is Loveland, CO.
Essential Duties Include:
Supervise and train approximately ten Animal Care staff members in the care, feeding and habitat cleaning of shelter animals.
Ensure animal care policies, procedures and protocols for disease control and safety are met.
Supervise assigned volunteers including community service volunteers.
End of life services for animals.
Participate in Shelter Team, Shelter Supervisor and Supervisor/Manager meetings Set schedules, review workflow and suggest and implement improvements.
Significant amount of animal interaction and handling required.
Requirements and Pluses:
Supervisory experience and skills.
Solid emotional intelligence, work ethics and integrity skills.
Minimum of Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience, one year of proven staff supervisory experience or NOCO Humane lead experience.
Regular schedules are five days a week, including a weekend day.
Overtime and holiday work will be required as needed.
Must be able to work a flexible and changing schedule and model expected behavior.
