Consider joining the NOCO Humane Animal Care Technician (ACT) team at our Larimer Campus in Loveland, CO! Animals in our care include dogs, cats, small mammals, exotic animals and more.
Duties Include:
Daily care and feeding of Shelter animals including habitat cleaning.
Assistance with animal enrichment.
Animal end-of-life services.
Significant animal interaction and physical labor with limited sedentary work.
Requirements and Pluses:
One full year of work experience required.
Six months of previous work experience with animals (care/handling) required.
Previous animal shelter and/or animal welfare work or volunteerism is a plus.
Proven bilingual English/Spanish reading, writing and speaking is a plus and includes a wage premium.
Ability to work at least one weekend day as well as overtime and some holidays hours required.
