Construction Control Representative

-Provide oversight of day-to-day contractor activities, including daily inspection reports, on behalf of the government. -Review drafts specification for adequacy, compliance with applicable codes, and compatibility with existing and future installations. -Evaluate contractor submitted electrical product data, technical data and designs including bills of material, installation manuals Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, as-built drawings, schematic diagrams, etc. -Coordinate with inspectors with other aspects of the work to assure interface between the different aspects of the project(s) are properly inspected and tested. -Responsible for the observance and enforcement of safety rules on the project. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
GS-10:
One year of Specialized Experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service. GS-11:
One year of Specialized Experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-10 level in the Federal service. DEFINITION OF SPECIALIZED

Experience as an inspector ensuring adherence to plans and specifications during all phases of a contractor's operations on a wide variety of construction operations; experience writing a daily-inspection report recording contractor work performed; experience providing oversight to other with less familiarity of inspection. GS-11:
Experience as an inspector ensuring adherence to specifications, plans, and approved submittals during all phases of a contractor's operations on a wide variety of construction operations; experience writing a daily-inspection report recording contractor work performed; experience providing substantive comments of submittals and draft specifications; experience providing oversight to other with less familiarity of inspection.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
